When I spoke with a friend recently, I recall her giving me a litany of everything that is wrong with her life. Now, this is a gal who considers herself a very positive person. I think in our urgency to become positive, we sometimes lose track of what we are really saying, thinking and doing, which undoes all the positive information we try to feed our minds. If we want to see improvement, we can't ask out loud or even think to ourself "Why aren't things getting better?" We need to confess that things are getting better all the time, even if we can't see it yet. As Christians, we can be confident that God is working behind the scenes to make things better. This is what we must confess. When anyone asks you how you are, just tell them "Getting better all the time!" Soon it will begin to manifest. To have what you really want and what the bible teaches us to lead- a balanced life, you have to initially rid yourself from any thoughts, actions, ideas, behaviors, people or experiences from the past that you don’t want to repeat, that make you feel bad or have a negative impact on you. The truth is - that what you feed grows, what you starve dies. Those things that need to die away from your life need to be starved. Give them no time, no words, no thoughts and no actions. Review the past and make a list of those things that are negatives or hold you back. List the things you want to let go. Make up your mind that one at a time – you will banish them from your life. You will start noticing within the first 24-48 hours, a new surge of energy and comfort with your life.
