You have heard a thousand commercials about losing weight. There are dozens of diet programs and more than a hundred pills, potions and remedies. You have used many of these diet programs, taken more pills, potions and remedies than you care to remember. Yet, you still haven’t found the right formula to lose those extra pounds and keep them off. You know all the reasons to lose weight. You want to be healthy. You know you want to take better care of yourself. You are disgusted by what you see in the mirror—bulges and being out of shape. You are sick and tired of being sick and tired. You are at your wits end about what to do. The answer lies in a single word. LOSE. Yes, Lose. No one wants to lose anything. Psychologically, when we use the word, LOSE weight, the psyche experiences an immediate reaction to LOSS. It is not human nature to want to lose anything. Unconsciously, losing weight is losing a part of yourself—albeit a part you would rather not have—yet, unconsciously you don’t want to lose it and you look to replace it when it is gone. The answer is: Stop dieting to LOSE WEIGHT!!! The secret is: Focus on what you want to gain not what you want to lose! What do you want to gain? • Better Health When you know what you want…in positive terms…then the key is to look inward and change your belief system and your mental programming. You will then achieve what you want—better health, high self-esteem, fit and trim body, etc. There is a battle going on between your conscious and subconscious mind. Your conscious mind knows you need to lose weight for your health and well-being—but your subconscious mind resists the process because, “Lose” is a negative command. Hypnosis goes directly to the subconscious to program what you want to gain…only then is change possible. The following steps are the steps I follow for each session • An overview of Hypnosis and how it works. After this presentation, you will know more about the truth of Hypnosis than 99% of the general public. • Discuss your eating pattern, onset and root cause. • Recommend a program which will most rapidly assist you in achieving your goal. • Answer your questions so you are comfortable with the idea of Hypnosis and feel good about your relationship with your Hypnotist. • Then the actual Hypnosis session will begin. You will be guided into a deep state of physical and mental relaxation. You will feel very relaxed, yet remain extremely alert mentally. You will be aware of everything going on around you. Suggestions for what you desire will then be given to your powerful subconscious mind. These suggestions will be retained by your subconscious and become a part of you. The old programming, which was keeping you from achieving your goals or which was causing a problem is removed, allowing you to accomplish goals and eliminate problems. • You will then be emerged from Hypnosis with strong suggestions of good health and positive attitude. You will feel better than you have for a very long time. These suggestions will continue to last, yet may need to be reinforced. Everyone wants to know the number of sessions required. Using a systematic approach, the majority of people need 4-6 sessions for a specific issue (5 is the average). This is the average number of sessions required to create permanent and lasting results. Many hypnotherapists state that one one-hour session is all that is required to ‘lose’ weight. However, 95% of people gain weight again after six to eighteen months. Why? The answer is the emotional reason the person used food to cope can not be removed in only one session. In order for the majority of people to gain their desired weight forever, the root cause that prompted them to eat too much needs to be removed, thus an average of five sessions is required.
